About
The Food Outlet & Op Shop is a nonprofit initiative by Noosa Church, aimed at supporting our local community. Our shop offers a wide variety of low-priced food and groceries, affordable second-hand clothing, & a range of bric-a-brac, toys, & household items. By providing these low-cost items, we build relationships with our community members. We have the privilege to be there for people in their times of need or to simply bring some encouragement or joy to them.
We welcome everyone to come and shop in our store.
It’s a great space to browse clothing and accessories at the same times as stocking your pantry with groceries and fresh food.
If you have a valid pension card or health care card, there are a variety of extra items at low cost, including fruit and vegetables, dairy, and essential groceries.
We also create and sell hampers, which are a great way to support people around you that might be sick or doing it tough.
Donations
Donate your quality clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, linen, books, toys, and household décor items at either our donation bins at the front of the property Tuesday to Friday or bring it down to the shop during opening hours. We have also started accepting small furniture in good condition and are looking for support through donations to launch this. (This doesn’t include Mattresses, beds, couches or TVs.)

There are so many different areas that you can help us out, from packing and sorting food, washing and sorting clothes, stock pick up and truck driving.
